Alexander III Type 7 Penny. Moneyer Arnold at Berwick. 1.36g. 19mm. Crowned head right with sceptre, ALEXANDER REX. R. Cross with stars in angles, ARN ALD ON BER. Ref: Burns, fig 95, no.18. An exessively rare coin, none present in the Colchester hoard and only one in the Brussels hoard, the only other is the Burns example. Interestingly all three have different obverse dies but all from a single reverse die.
